Let’s give that character a look by answering some basic questions to write up a description. Colors in Wyrlde provide a hexadecimal color code for use with artist palettes.

Hair

P9194#y1 Type comes in Straight, Wavy, Curly, and Coiled, with each type having three subtypes, as shown below.

Length is anywhere from shaven to cropped, neck to shoulder, or longer.

Color is determined in part by your Heritage, which has a list of colors.

Hair can be multiple colors naturally and can have highlights of different shades. While an ombre hair color is fairly common, triple through quintuple colors are also possible – and in some cases, people will dye their multicolored hair.

Style is entirely a choice of your personal habit. Six common styles are Loose, Ponytail, Braided, Bun, Chignon, and Loc.

Complexion

Complexion comes in five Shades: Pale, Medium, Dusky, Swarthy, Dark. Those go from lightest shades to darkest. Each of them can vary slightly by about 3 casts. On that place called Earth, it went something like Pale, Fair, Olive, Brown, Dark Brown.

Complexion on Wyrlde is unusual. For the most part, persons born with Pale or Medium skin shades are fairly uncommon and stand out and are noticeable and more easily identifiable – as well as often grouped together. The most common shades are Swarthy, Dark, and Dusky, in that order.

These Complexions are then altered slightly by Tones: Cool, Warm, and Neutral. This gives about fifteen different skin tones for a normal range of complexions.

Hues

Lastly, there are Hues of Peach, Frost, Coral, Floral, or Leaf. These are akin to undertones and are very much like they sound; each is a subtle under-coloring for that shade and tone, of peach, blue-white, reddish orange coral, or green.

Hues apply across all the coloration possible, even the peculiar Skyfall complexions and the unique qualities of the others. Hues are not limited to any given Heritage but tend to be common among some.

Peach – #FFF0D5

Frost – #DEFCFE

Coral – #FFECE5

Floral – #FFE1F3

Leaf – #E5FFE9

Peach tends to occur most commonly among Cambion, Faery, Imperial, and Seraph Heritage.

Frost tends to occur most commonly among Dwarfin, Spright, Gnome, and Dakoan Heritage.

Coral tends to occur most commonly among Iaran, Thalasian, and Triton Heritage.

Floral tends to occur most commonly among Elfin, Fay, Exilian, and Meka Heritage.

Leaf tends to occur most commonly among Ogre and Myrmian Heritage.

Should an artist be engaged, be sure to let them know all three aspects. They may not be able to capture all of them, but when setting the coloration down it will be a help in achieving a good look.

Following the Skyfalls, additional colorations began to appear and creep into the whole, often shocking and startling, and while they first started with the changes to eye and hair colors, they eventually wound up also entering the complexion colors. These are most commonly found among the Cambion, Seraph, and Faery population, but are also present in the wider world as well among all the peoples. They are at least as common as Pale and Medium basic complexions.

Lastly, Tritons, Iaran, Thalasians, Dwarfin, and Elfin folks tend to have a different coloration from the rest in general, but it is also less variable, even though there are also Cool, Warm, and Neutral Tones and all of the Hues. Waterfolk are divided by Sea and River, so what they are closest to determines their coloring. The core complexions for each are shown below.
